RAGI PORRIDGE TO LEAD A HEALTHY LIFE.


It is a good weaning food to be introduced at 6 months of age for your baby. It has been traced back years to our ancestors but nowadays mothers often feed on cerelac or bottle foods.

BENEFITS OF RAGI PORRIDGE

*  Develops bone and teeth

*  Avoids constipation

*  Rich source of iron

*. Reduces the risk of heredity diabetes

*  Boosts up the energy levels

*  Easy for swallowing and digestion


INGREDIENTS

* 2 tsp of ragi powder
* 1 cup of milk
* 1 tsp of ghee
* 2 tsp of Jaggery


PROCEDURE

* Add half teaspoon of Ghee in a pan.
* Then saute the ragi powder.
*  Pour the milk into it.
*  Keep stirring to avoid the formation of lumps.
*  When the consistency becomes thick add Jaggery.
* Finally add the remaining Ghee.
* Feed your baby in warm temperature.
