KICHDI RECIPE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS.


Old people tend to face a lot of problems when food is concerned due to their health conditions. Many people when moving towards the 60s become toothless this affects their digestive system as they cannot chew food before swallowing here I have a recipe to help them out...

   

BAJRA MOONG DAL KICHDI


BENEFITS

* Easily digestible.
* Builds up muscle tissues.
* Source of high-quality protein
* It regulates blood sugar.

INGREDIENTS

* Half cup bajra
* Half cup moong dal (green)
* Salt to taste
* 2 tsp ghee
* 1tsp cumin seeds
* Pinch of turmeric powder
*  Asafoetida as per taste
*  Carrot/Capsicum / Beans - 5 to 6 each

PROCEDURE

* Pressure Cook bajra, moong dal, carrot, capsicum, beans well.
* Mash them well.
* Add salt and turmeric powder to taste.
* Add Ghee in a pan add cumin seeds, asafoetida,  saute well.
* Mix it well with the KICHDI..

 Serve with Curd...
